Yellowstone National Park is full of things to do! I previously made a list of 10 Things to Do in Yellowstone in the Lower Loop, and because there’s so much to do, I had to make a part 2!
I created a custom Google Map with these sites, as well as the sites from the first post. You can view that HERE , or by clicking on the map below. You can use it to help you plan the perfect itinerary for your Yellowstone trip! The items listed in this post are the orange markers on the right side.
1. Dragon’s Mouth Spring
This is my favorite thing I’ve seen in Yellowstone. It sounds like a breathing dragon!
2. Mud Volcano
Fun Fact: This area of the park is so acidic that it is deteriorating the vents in the parking lot. You can kind of see in the top left of the vent, there is steam coming out of it.
3. Yellowstone Lake
4. Upper Falls
5. Lower Falls
6. Grand Canyon of Yellowstone
7. Mud Caldron
8. Emerald Spring
9. Hayden Valley
10. Norris Geyser Basin
Bonus: Wildlife (From a Distance!)
All of these photos were taken from our car as we were driving past. Keep your distance! Use the zoom on your camera to get closer shots, but do not move closer.
